COVID Policies

Beach Head COVID Protocol + Policies

*Updated 12/20

The health and safety of all of our players, families, and staff our top priority.

"Outside, Spaced, Masked" is our current mantra

In order to offer SAFE events, Beach Head Lacrosse stays informed of all of the latest state, county, and local guidelines.

By communicating directly with the Department of Health, and taking into consideration the recommendations from them, US Lacrosse, The Aspen Institute, and our friends and team parents who are doctors, we have come up with the following protocols.

We appreciate that everyone is making difficult, personal choices for their own safety and comfort, and for that of their families. We thank you in advance for following our protocols, which allow us to stay open and offer important opportunities for youth to get outside, stay connected, and have some fun!
With everyone's help, we can work together to ensure that we are keeping our kids and coaches safe.

COVID Protocol:

-All coaches and players will have temperatures checked upon arrival

-All coaches and players will be required to wear masks
(*drills have been modified to take face coverings into account and players will have the opportunity to take breaks)

-All equipment is sanitized before and after every event

-Hand sanitizer is available at the check-in table

-Players will be given visual cues (cones, etc) for spacing, and all drills have been modified to account for increased spacing

-low coach:player ratios (guidance is 1:12, but ours is typically lower than 1:10)

-modified equipment to reduce hand-mouth/hand-face touching

-No shared water - every player will bring their own individual bottles

Before attending any BH event, please use this self-screening tool (CDC):
